Joan Krieger (my mom) -- who passed away on November 16, 2009 after suffering a massive heart attack. Joan was a very social person who loved people. She was a self-taught knitter of 70+ years. She had a following of knitters whom she still taught through Adult Education. She is greatly missed by her family and friends.

Melissa Herrera (my sisters' good friend) -- who passed away unexpectedly on October 5th, 2008 of a massive heart attack at the age of 45. She was a very outgoing and loving person that would do anything for you. She is greatly missed by her family and friends. Melissa had done some cross stitching but was an avid quilter.
